The 4th edition of  “escuta!” , An information bulletin from the Collective Health Institute, is now available for consultation. Among the highlights are the research that points to the highest risk of suicide among farm workers. According to the study, exposure to chemicals may be one of the hypotheses for the higher incidence of cases in this category.

The issue also features another survey led by the ISC / UFBA, which identified the federal programs most affected by federal budget cuts in recent years. According to the survey, reductions in areas such as social assistance, education and housing reached R $ 60.2 billion, affecting the most vulnerable populations.

In the video section, you can see what happened at “University in the Square”, an event that brought together professors, students and UFBA staff to show the community the relevance and broad social role of the university.

And there is also a new digital bulletin launched by the Integrated Program in Environmental and Workers Health (PISAT). Through the video, the Internet users have available the results of a large study on “Work-Related Mental Disorders in Brazil”, conducted between 2006 and 2017.

“escuta!” Editions are sent directly to ISC students, faculty, and staff by email. If you have not received it, simply register by sending a message to .
