Registration is open for the 1st Bahia Health and Communication Meeting, which will be held on December 7 at the State School of Public Health in Salvador. The purpose of the event is to draw attention to the importance of communication for healthcare organizations, as well as today’s challenges with the advances of digital media.

The registration will be in solidarity, by donating 2 cans of milk powder, which will be destined to Sister Dulce’s Social Works. To participate, you must access the event website ( ) until November 30th. Vacancies are limited.

The First Meeting of Communication and Health of Bahia should gather more than 25 guests among teachers, researchers, managers and professionals in the areas of communication and health, which will address various topics such as: Health and Journalism, Internal Communication, Digital Media, Science and Society, Technologies in Health, Fake News, Misleading Network Advertising, Health Policy, and hands-on communication workshops.

The event is held by Professor Edgard Santos University Hospital Complex Communication Advisory (Hupes / UFBA / Ebserh) together with the Health Education and Communication Research Group (ISC | UFBA) and the University Health System (SIUNIS / UFBA) .
