The Academic Center in Collective Health promotes, this Monday (30), a conversation wheel with the theme: “Creativity, self-care and resilience: affective conversations about suicide in Collective Health”. The activity takes place at 6:30 pm, in the auditorium of the Institute of Collective Health of UFBA. The goal is to broaden the debate on suicide prevention by encouraging actions and discussions on mental health in the university environment.
The activity marks the September Yellow, campaign dedicated to the awareness of society about suicide. Created in 2015 by the Center for Valuing Life (CVV), Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) and Brazilian Association of Psychiatry (BPA), it takes place throughout September and reinforces the importance of the World Day of Suicide Prevention, celebrated in the last day 10.
