Rodrigo Said, general coordinator of Arboviroses by the Ministry of Health, discussed the “Epidemiological Scenario and Integrated Management of Arboviruses in Brazil”, in a lecture at the Institute of Collective Health (ISC) of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). According to Said, 86% of Brazilian municipalities have recorded the presence of Aedes Aegypti, mosquito transmitting dengue, zika, chikungunya and urban yellow fever, in high densities.
