On November 11, the Brazilian Association of Health Economics (Abres), with the support of Fiocruz-Brasilia, will promote the VII National Day of Health Economics: “Austerity policies and their effects on safety, strategies for strengthening SUS ”. The event will be held at the auditorium of the headquarters of Fiocruz, in Brasilia.
The meeting will have two tables, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to discuss, at the current juncture, the economic and political reasons for the fall in public per capita spending on health and the rise in the prices of private goods and services. of health.
The event will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Abres, an entity created to assist the implementation of SUS based on studies and actions related to health economics.
